Some information for my customers
Don’t be fooled
-- One step systems simply don‘t work as well as a MULTI STEP PROCESS. With hot water extraction, just extracting will not get most of the dirt out of you carpeting unless your carpeting is fairly new and not to dirty. Using only shampoo or bonnet cleaning methods does not remove the dirt from the carpeting, it just hides it. The Dri foam method is basically shampooing with a different product that is supposed to trap and suspend the dirt in a foam until the foam dries and is vacuumed up. For any carpet cleaning process, pre conditioning MUST be used and the last method of cleaning MUST be a complete rinse and extraction of the carpet to remove any chemical residue and dirt.
Don’t be fooled --
Many carpet cleaners advertise the fact that the major carpet manufacturers recommend Hot Water Extraction (HWE) (AKA steam cleaning) as the prreferred method of cleaning. This is true BUT that is for basic cleaning and maintenance of your carpet (for their warranty). If you are like most of my clients, you are looking for a carpet cleaning company because your carpets are DIRTY. Basic HWE will get a lot of the dirt out but not most.
Don’t be fooled --
Now the other companies do offer, in one form or another, the same process I offer, but they will charge you a per room fee of up to $25.00 to do several of the steps I automatically do. With my service --IT’S INCLUDED. (Except power scrubbing which is only $5.00 per room) I know that in some houses, there are areas that need special treatment which extraction simply is not enough.
With out being concieted, I invite you to call any other company and ask how much they charge for power scrubbing your carpets. I believe you will be shocked at what they tell you.
Don’t be fooled --
Some carpet cleaning companies will tell you that shampooing or bonnet cleaning is no good for your carpets and will void a warranty. Well that is true IF that were your only method of carpet cleaning. Too much aggressive agitation on any carpet will harm the carpeting.
Don’t be fooled --
Some carpet cleaning companies will claim to agitate the carpeting by using a carpet grooming brush and call it agressive scrubbing. Let’s be realistic here. Who is going to dislodge more embedded dirt, a guy with a grooming brush, brushing the carpeting 3 or 4 times or someone who uses a commercial rotary machine which will brush and groom the carpet in multiple directions 175 times per minute?
